Plant Head - Aerospace

Position: Deputy General Manager

No. of years of experience required: 12-18 years

Location of job: Hosur (Near Bangalore)

Education qualification required: BE/BTECH (Mechanical)

Desired industry experience:

  •  Knowledge on AS9100, NADCAP certification and documentations. Experience in preparing internal and external audit plan as per various aerospace standards (AS9100, NADCAP etc.)
  •  Experience in Aerospace Process planning, cost estimation, tooling, and Heat treatment processes, precision machining of different aerospace grade materials including gear manufacturing process and assembly process.
  • Experience in setting up new manufacturing set up for Aerospace and Defense business including cohesive team building.
  • Experience in preparing different production, quality matrix for management review.
  • Experience in root cause analysis using 8D and implementing the corrective action as per the plan.
  • Experience in using PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis) tools in all aerospace products.
  • Experience in developing different AQMS (Aerospace Quality Management System) processes for the business.
  • Experience in CAPEX projection and finalisation of technical specification for the requirements.
  • Experience in preparing daily, weekly, monthly production plan and reporting the operation matrix to the top management.
  • Knowledge of Indian aero-defence manufacturing ecosystem (including relationships in process of being established)
  • Ability to play pivotal role  and contribute in project specific industrialisation/Productionisation
  • Ability to build a healthy working relationship with prospective competitors as well as potential collaborators
  • Working knowledge of public procurement processes applicable to domestic aero/defence establishments
